The project used standard and customized thermoplastic formulations together with MR reflective glass beads. This selection addressed two connected needs: workable material during construction and visible markings after installation.

The paint formed the marking body, while the beads contributed to the return of vehicle headlamp light. Evaluating them as a system gave the customer a more useful basis for selection than considering paint color alone.

During construction, the thermoplastic material showed smooth melting and good flow. These characteristics helped the crew produce uniform markings with clear edges.

The project record also noted adhesion to the asphalt and the bright appearance of the white markings. For the contractor, these were relevant observations because material handling, surface bonding and visual definition all influence the quality of the finished work.

Post-application evaluation was reported as meeting the customer’s reflectivity requirements for the white and yellow markings.
